Bio

Franz Fraitzl is a recent addition to Nova Scotia. Born and educated in Germany, until recently has brought his Art alive as a Special Effects Technician in the Vancouver Film Industry. Inspired by Land and Sea, Franz tries to use mostly repurposed materials. Favourite medium is rusty scrap steel.

Description of artist's work

My work is an expression of emotions as well as reflections of us as humans and the impact on the environment. Sometimes functional, decorative but always constructed of used and upcycled materials.
