Bio

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Kim Aerts has been interested in art creation from a young age. At 18 years of age he studied under renowned Smithsonian artist Ely Kish and then pursued further training at Mount Allison University earning a BFA in 1989.He founded a Graphic design company and then in 2007 he returned to his painterly roots and began painting landscapes of areas around eastern Canada. He paints primarily in oils.

Description of artist's work

Kim is a landscape oil painter who paints scenes from the coasts, forests and valleys of N.S. His medium of choice is oil paint for its vibrancy, translucence and strong colours.
