Bio

Kathy holds an MFA from NSCAD. She studied watercolour painting through NSCAD Continuing Education. She is a signature member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC). Her paintings were included in exhibitions marking the both the 80th and 90th anniversaries of the society. Paintings are in the collections of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Art Bank and private collections across Canada and internationally.

Description of artist's work

Kathy's watercolours emerge from sailing the Atlantic, and often include nautical charts. She also paints imaginative mixed media works, landscapes from a high viewpoint, and enjoys painting outdoors.
