1 David BlackwoodMedium: Printmaking David Blackwood is one of the best-known contemporary artists and printmakers in Canada. His work captures the storytelling and past traditions of his native Newfoundland.
1 Nujalia TunnillieMedium: Sculpture This carving is a beautiful example of the artist’s dancing creatures, for which Nujalia is known. He is one of the talented Tunnillie family of carvers working in Cape Dorset on Baffin Island. We have a good selection of Inuit and aboriginal art.
1 Maggie SchmidtMedium: Painting Maggie is known for her diverse landscapes of Nova Scotia. She paints in a realistic style with abstract elements, giving her paintings a dream-like quality.
1 Evguenia IoganovMedium: Painting Originally from Russia, Evguenia now lives and works as a full-time artist in Nova Scotia. Her work is found in many private and corporate collections in North America and abroad. Evguenia’s realism is similar to that of the Old Masters, paying close attention to detail, light and rich use of colour.
2 James BradshawMedium: Jewellery / Metal Selling only what he makes, James Bradshaw’s Jewellery Design Studio is an expression of simple elegance. His one-of-a-kind pieces are contemporary and modern, in a style so recognizable it expresses true identity.

4 Lynda ConstantineMedium: Jewellery / Metal Lynda is fairly new to FireWorks but not to Haligonians. Her fresh crisp designs in simple geometric forms are widely sought by collectors. Shown is one of her playful Bubbles pendants.
5 Helen PainterMedium: Painting Helen’s humourous colourful paintings and drawings depict her sense of fun, love of nature, life with pets, and plays on words. Originals can be found at the Secord Gallery and Helen’s greeting cards at the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market.
5 Peter LawrenceMedium: Jewellery / Metal Peter has been exhibiting his work at FireWorks since 1984 when he graduated from NSCAD in jewellery. His organic shapes are sculpted from textured sterling with laminates of flowing gold. Pictured is one of his Dunes Rings.
7 Candice J. PriorMedium: Jewellery / Metal Candice is primarily a jewellery maker, with an eye to combining different materials into unique pieces.
