About Halifax Art Map

Published annually since 2002, the Halifax Art Map is a unique guide and regional celebration of creative endeavor in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), Nova Scotia. Use it to seek out the many fine artists' studios and galleries in HRM; they are yours to discover! Pick a neighbourhood, take a walk, bike ride or a drive –explore artistic Halifax..

An exhibition of new works accompanies the map launch each May when 23,000 maps are printed featuring 70 artists and 40 arts-related advertisers. The maps are widely distributed in HRM and throughout the province.

Submissions from artists and craftspeople in the HRM will be accepted for
consideration for the next year's edition annually in February.
