Cheryl Wilcox has been exhibiting her paintings throughout New England and Nova Scotia for over 25 years. She works on location using a mobile studio, without the aid of photography. Cheryl’s signature brushwork produces work with a bold and energetic style. She has studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Massachusetts College of Art. Cheryl has shown her work in numerous galleries, including Chapel Gallery, Boston, MA. Frnacesca Anderson Gallery, Boston, MA., Judi Rotenberg Gallery, Boston, MA., Boston Corporate Art, Boston, MA.,Zwickers Gallery, Halifax, NS and the Copley Society of Boston.

"I continue to paint landscape working from my new waterfront studio and gallery Wilcox Fine Art in Terence Bay, and from my mobile studio on location by the sea in Nova Scotia. Seascapes and scrublands are a theme in many of my paintings. Nature is a subject I am comfortable with and interested in from florals to pine and rock or oceans sunsets. The spriritual aspects of the environmental experience is enjoyable in empathizing witht he place and coming to understand it."
