"I am passionate about photography and travel. I love to explore countries that are culturally different from my own. I am interested in photographing and presenting the world as it is: the people, their stories, and the themes of everyday life. In this digital world, with fewer and fewer images we see being honest representations of real life, I feel my kind of photography is more important than ever.
If I had to coin a phrase to describe my style of photography, it would be that I am a street photographer. My photographic approach is a meditative one: There is nothing I love more than walking the streets of Halifax, or some other locale, camera in hand, being totally in tune with the moment and photographing what stops me be it colour, texture, light or gesture. I want to tell a story through my images and evoke an emotion in the viewer.
I do not use a tripod, I only use natural light, and I rarely crop. It is what it is."
